Joseph
L. Almond is an Army veteran, author, speaker, and coach. He has more than 20
years of professional speaking experience, specializing in the area of Resiliency.He utilizes his expertise in Cross Cultural training, Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership and Transformation. Joseph provides customized keynotes,
coaching and training programs to numerous clients from Fortune 500 companies, government agencies to non-profit organizations.
Joseph
has several years experience serving as the Lead Master Facilitator with an organization that provided a military to
civilian transition workshop. This is a three week workshop where he strategically
built the brand and influence of the organization, personally facilitating and
coaching several hundred active duty service members, veterans and spouses throughout the Unted States. He is also a
faculty member with The Honor Foundation which exclusively works with the US
Navy Seals. The Honor Foundation is sponsored by UCSD Rady School of Management
and has the endorsement of The Navy Seal Foundation.
Joseph incorporates
his experiences with the military, government, schools, non-profits and
businesses into his presentations, capturing the imagination while simultaneously
stimulating the intellect. Since professional life is an extension of a
person's personal reality, he integrates relevant life experiences in a
compelling way to connect deeply with his audiences.
He holds
a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership, and is the author and
co-author of
three books: "Get Better Not Bitter," in which he inspires others to live their
best life in the midst of adversity, "The BIG BOOK of Management: Tools
& Techniques Every Manager Needs in Their Toolbox"'His third book is entitled "Leadership Essentials...How to Lead with Passion, Pride and Purpose. Joseph's
diverse career has equipped him to interface with a multitude of individuals
employed in a number of progressive organizations both nationally and
internationally. His expertise in leadership, diversity, cross cultural training and military transition
has enabled him to make a profound impact and become a leader with great
influence and credibility within his industry.
